Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design and Turkey’s number one Baby Care brand Dalin carried out "Design Charrette Upcycle" project, in which of Dalin shampoo bottles are re-functioning by modifying with industrial design, with environmental responsibility.

Every day millions of accumulated plastic waste are produced. Dalin and Bahçeşehir University made this social responsibility project as an example to all brands. In this upcycle project Dalin and Bahçeşehir University targeted to use 750 ml. bottles of shampoo to be converted as a toy. Dalin Marketing Director Sibel Çağlar started Design Charrette Upcycle with informing the participants, Bahçeşehir University industrial design department first, second, and third grade students in mixed groups designed toys from Dalin bottles for 0-3 or 4-7 years old children.

Dalin, bought intellectual property rights projects of Bahçeşehir Üniversity student projects. The projects, which were developed by taking inspirations from various objects ranging from baby to instruments, were evaluated by a jury composed of the authoritatives of Dalin and lecturers from Bahçeşehir University Department of Industrial Products Design. As a result of the evaluation, the owners of the first three projects were given various awards by the firm Dalin. In addition to this the firm Dalin bought the intellectual property rights of the three projects with high potential of implementation. Purchased intellectual property rights projects were designed by Beril Küçükbeydağ, Özge Özdemirel, Göknur Adatepe, Irmak Ünler, Melis Büşra Mert, Şevval Tutkun, Buse Ekincioğlu and Alihan Cevat Akyol.
